With all this recent stuff on the news about pitbulls and the fact i was in the vets last night, i was wondering, where do vets stand if a pit bull is brought in to his or her surgery? do they have a confidentiality clause or would they be obliged to report it to the police but if this is the case, would owners be reluctant to take them and let the dogs suffer in order to avoid any problems with the police? any vets out there know what they have to do?!
thanks :o)

Vets have no obligation to confidentiality. Neither are they obliged to report it.

Its really down to the individual and their conscience.
