Tesco Questionnaire

A few months ago Tesco emailed me and asked me if I would like to earn �40 by filling out some customer questionnaires regarding Tesco shopping online. I emailed back to say yes and have been filling out questionnaires ever since. I recently asked them how many more questionnaires I have to fill out to receive my �40 and they said I have filled out nine of 13. Apparently if I had filled 13 out by 6th February I would receive my �40 - but they have only sent me nine !! They are now offering me �10 to fill out 10 questionnaires, that means if I fill out another one by 6th February I will get �10, not �40. Where do I stand ?? I have emailed them today to ask them to send me another four before 6th February but I doubt they will. What should I do? �40 is not a lot, it is the principle - are they doing this to everyone who volunteered?

I would guess by filling out the first questionairre you have a contract with them (unless there is some small print that your did not see). Threaten to take them to the small claims court and iform the papers. Or just bin them in future.

Tesco are 'usually' pretty hot on customer service...

Kick up a stink, tell them you are a long standing customer.. bla bla.. Tell them you would like to see a copy of the contract you have with them as you believe that under the verbal terms they have breached the contract..

Basically, call them up, speak to the most senior person available and give them a constructive ear bashing!!

JJ1969 that is my forte, I love sending stinking letters or making phone calls to complain ... however I don't know where I stand with this one. I have eventually had an email from their market research company - Nunwood - saying I could have filled out the previous questionnaires three or four times, to make it up to the 13!! This wasn't made clear in the first place. They have now sent me another Q and told me to fill it out four times !! Can you believe it. However I have done it five times and replied to their email telling them what I have done, and will see the outcome, otherwise you can be sure I will be on to Tesco Head Office ...
