Yes, as long as one can read a number plate at 25 yards or maybe metres.

i think so but you may have problems - i have one eye that is not as good as the others (though i have good eyesight) i seemed that the good one was doing all the work and affected my 3D vision.

You must tell the DVLA. They will arrange an eyesight test at an opticians local to you. It will test your field of vision. As far as I know there are one-eyed drivers about so as long as you pass the eyesight test you should be OK. I have a dodgy eye due to diabetes but am allowed to drive. In fact my two eys together are street legal without glasses. Your optician will be able to advise you.
