My husband's ex-girlfriend allows him to see his two children but doesn't want them to see me. Is my husband within his legal rights to take his children from her house and fetch them to ours without her permission?

Is there a bigger issue here, I'm assuming this veto prevents the children from staying over night & going away on holiday?
If the mother's issue is with you, perhaps you need to build a relationship with her

He has parental responsibility for his youngest but not for the three year old girl.
I have tried to make friends with this woman but she won't even speak to me and won't reply to texts. We did have access to the children every other weekend but when we moved into our new house she became very jelous and stopped contact with me.
We would like things back the way they were but can't afford legal costs (she gets legal aid as she has never worked).
If he fetches the children to our house can she call the police?

If you defy her wishes, yes I would imagine she'll call the police if she's so inclined, whether they'll be able to follow through or not I don't know

If your husband has had access rights granted through a court then he can take the children wherever he likes during his time with them. Not necessarily out of the country though!
Without legal access rights then i'm really not sure where he stands.
If he takes them to your home without legal access then his ex-girlfriend could make life very difficult for him when trying to pick his children up in the future.
It's certainly worth investigating the legal side of things as once this is sorted out then everyone clearly knows where they stand.
Good luck!

if he has legal access he should find out exactly what the terms are, a friend of mine has a son and although the father takes the child to his house where his girlfriend is the girlfriend is not allowed to come with the father to collect him or return him, so just check it out, different judges decide different things
