Does anyone know if it is possible to pay your own stamp duty and not use the solicitor who is doing your conveyincing work?reason is I dont think I will have enough funds on completion and I see that you have 30days to pay duty to the inland revenue?

im not entirely sure but i think that most solicitors wont allow a sale to go through unless you have all monies owed, or we could all say we'll pay later
