complaint about british gas

what would my best option be? there wont be much point in complaining to any one at british gas about british gas is there any independent people i can get in touch with?

I was referred to Energywatch and it is correct that complaints are referred back to British Gas for their input. The last I heard from Energywatch was last October to advise me that they were still investigating the matter and that it was British Gas who were causing a delay in response by not having answered any of the questions asked of them. I got fed up waiting and took it back inhouse , contacting one of their top kiddies in Edinburgh after being transferred through on the switchboard and he set things in motion immediately. He even followed up the call to ensure that the matter had been resolved to my satisfaction and compensated my for inconvenience caused. I would definitely go straight to the top and bypass the advisers who will undoubtedly try to fob you off with excuses (which they are told to do by their managers) that managers don't do callbacks. I do hope that you get the matter resolved.
