Yes. My sister married in Las Vegas, but the marriage wasn't deemed legal in the UK. She had to apply for her marriage license from the chapel in Las Vegas and send it to her local registry office for the UK rubber stamp, if you get my meaning. Your local office of births / deaths / marriages will tell you everything you need to know
