driving a rental van
Hiya all
I recentley hired a van for the day I just paid for the day with NO deposet left anyway during the day the rear light got broke now they are asking for the price of the light I,ve refused,I keep getting bills for the light but done nothing about it then i got a phone call saying i had two oppstions i could pay up & i could rent from them again or they would take the payment from my ctedit/debit card they dont have such thing coz i paid by cash
so in short can they do anything to me? like take me to court ?or atre they bluffing me

What do you mean by, "the rear light got broke"? It didn't break itself did it? They could certainly take you to court even if just to set an example. Then as Pippa points out, you'll be paying a much bigger bill (you'll be landed with the court costs etc.)

Part of the rental charge would be insurance, if you took the option of paying extra to have collision damage waiver and no excess then the insurance will cover the repair.
If you took the basic insurance there would be an excess which you are liabel for, the value of the light is likley to be less then the excess so you would be liabel for the whole cost.
They may take you to court because they have a signed contract which clearly states your liability.
