My company has a second site two miles away from the main site. They have now decided we must park on the main site and catch the company bus which runs every 20 minutes (10 minute journey time) as there are not enough parking spaces at the satellite site. They have also stated our working time starts when we get to our desk on the satellite site. This will on average add approximately 30 minutes to everyone's day. Can they legally do this? It will also mean it will be almost impossible to go off site during lunch break, effectively grounding you.

Unfortunately companies are not obliged to provide parking for their employees. In a way you are lucky that they are providing parking on the main site and a free bus.
I seem to remember something about the inland revenue wanting to tax the provision of free parking.
