have just recieved a letter from barclays bank saying that if i don't pay my full loan back within 10 days i will have a county court judgement against me.
what i need to know is do i have to attend this as its about 80 miles from where i live also what does a ccj do i have a poor credit history so can't get any loans etc any way can they repossess anything i am on a very low income!!

if they get a ccj judgement against you,they can ask you to pay so much per week/month,if you dont pay that,then they can send in the bailiffs,when they apply for a ccj,you should be sent a form to fill out,dont ignore it,just fill it in and send it off.

thank you do you know if i have to attend the hearing
thats up to you.the forms will tell you all about the procedures.
You can attend if you want to. My partner has a CCJ and he didnt attend court, just wrote a letter outlining the details and proposing a payment plan backed up with an I & E form.

If you do want to attend you can apply for the case to be moved to your local court. I would ring the courts about this as the staff are very helpful and will tell you how you need to go about this.
