do i have to pay for the removal of an electricity overhead line pole
2 Answers
I have an electricity overhead line pole in my front garden with the wires going into the gable end of my house. i want to put an extnsion on the side of the house and these lines are stopping me. i cant even lay the foundations because digging up would bring the founds about 500mm from the pole and weakening it. the supply ompany has said it will take 12 weeks to process and im worried that i'm going to lose my builder, will i have to pay for its removal and do they have any right for it to be in my garden, We have only just moved into this house

When the pole was put in for the electricity supply the house was the farm workers accomodation so was classed as agricultural, the farm has since gone and all the buildings have been converted to residential now. I think i need to do some more research. Thanks
