I have been Legally seperated for nearly four years. I have recently been fighting with my lawyer to reclaim an amount of money they overpaid to my wifes Lawyer, contrarary to the maximum amount I was to pay as laid out in our minute of agreement. My lawyer has now introduced a counter argument against me recieving that money, as I was never charged for services carried out between 5 and six years ago. At the time I was told there would be no charge for the work, that was verbal and the partner has now left. I never saw a fee note, agreed a fee note or indeed heard any more till now. Can someone advise me of my position in Scottish law, or point me to somewhere for assistance
