I have been asked to attend Jury service in a few weeks. I work 3 days a week (not Monday and Wednesday). I understand that I my employer has to pay me whilst I'm doing this service, however, who should pay me for my non working days (mon and wed)? Thank you in advance for getting back to me...

hi there, i attended jury service in the early 90's . we were all re embursed by the the clerk of the court for lost wages, travelling expenses and the like he was very helpfull with any queries, just ask him on your first day. be prepared for a long stay, it all depends on who they chose for the cases on the day. best of luck.
You won't get paid for your non-working days, other than travel expenses and food.
claims for loss of earnings are paid up to a maximum rate.
If your daily rate is more than this then your employer essentially pays the difference. If you are self employed then you pay the difference. If your employer is paying then any money you get belongs to your employer.
what is it you are expecting them to pay you for
days you don't work.
sorry if i am missing the point here
