Wife owns a flat in her own name we jointly own our current home we have 2 kids 7 and 4. Wife wants a divorce..... legally i can have my name taken off the deeds for family home which I want her to keep including all of the equity. She now wants to sign over the flat over to me including the equirt in both cases the equity involved is around 150k each. Can we do this ie legal and tax implications and yes both properties have mortgages

Whatever happens, you can't do either transaction without the consent of the mortgage lenders. Get this stage dealt with first.
