moved into a house early 2007, we still annoyingly receive some of their post, on a daily basis. Got back from holiday, walked into the house saw a delivery note saying "one parcel left in green bin" thats its!
Went out and found a parcel address to the other people. Parcel full of brillaint books. Now.....
Would you be honest, and write them a letter and advise them that the package is here. or
leep the books, if they contact advise them that I receive a delivery not, but it stated not name or items description, just amount and where it was.
What would you do????
Books hav been paid for as invoice shows payment, also shows billing address as their new address and delivery address as my adress
I would keep it and deny all knowledge! I know it's illegal but I always open other people's mail if it ends up at my house just to be nosy cos its not like they'll know. I do this because I have had lots of mail go missing so whoever gets mine on occasion obviously does the same. I once ordered several items of clothing from a catalogue and I was out when they came and they left no note saying where they has put them or anything. I found them in my shed (which didn't have a lock) nearly a week later and denied knowledge of ever receiving them so I got a load of free clothes and I would do it again!
lol @ Velvet. No it arrived about 2-3 weeks ago. Im now thinking of keeping the damn books. Cant get a letter out to the people coz of the strike anyway. Im mosty and honest person, but they caused us sooo much grief when we moved in (left everything bar the kitchen sink) so sod em!
but like you said its arrived a bout 2-3 weeks ago, they havent been on strike all the time have they, you could easily phone or maybe you just want to keep them anyway and are trying to find excuses not to return them, but thats up to you
