Working tax credits - Bankrupct person
2 Answers
I claimed for working tax credits in 2004/05, received about 280, when I realised I should not of had it, I wrote to them explaining. At present I am bankrupct. Although they know about this, they are still demanding that I have to repay this amount, can they do this? are they seperate from bankrupcy?

if you dont get any joy through the tax credit system phone your local tax office and rather than speak over the phone get an appointment to go and see someone and explain to them.
they will help, although somethimes not how you want them to.
hope it helps
