The OFT's application has been heard, but judgement is to be given at a later date (I'm not sure when). Possibly this month I think.
My money is on the banks winning. The interests of big business always seems to win over the interests of the ordinary member of the public - e.g. applicability of S.75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to overseas transactions.
I may be wrong! I received an email from Egg this week telling me default charges were being rediuced from �20 to �12 - the limit above that the OFT say is 'automatically unfair'!
It suggests that the creditors are on the run and have pre-empted a decision against them. Hope so!!!
