What is reasonable time to wait to get your deposit back from your landlord after you move out of the property and everything is in good order

I'm pretty sure I was told the law says 14 days but can't remember which law, sorry
I usually give my Tenants their deposit back once I have inspected the property on the day they are leaving.

If they leave it a mess or havent paid rent on time or given me notice of them moving I keep it !

I think the tenancy deposit schemes will return deposits within 14 days if there's no dispute.

As for agencies and private landlords then it's down to the individuals. Two to three weeks is possibly the norm but some take longer.
