Who does it belong to?

After my divorce, my partner and I decided to buy a caravan with my settlement money. I paid for it but it was put in his name, as the car and insurance was already in his name. I now want to sell the caravan but he told me I can't, it's in his name and there is nothing I can do about it. Do I have the right to sell it?
