I have been summoned to court for going through red light (1.5 seconds) but the witness signature has not been witnessed on 2 documents in the summons paperwork. There is a space next to the witness signature for a witness to the signature to sign, but they are blank - can these documents be used in court by the police ?

of course they can, clerical errors as they are called happen all the time,as long as the main details are correct and the witness appear at court, then thats fine, but tell me why are you being summons to appear in court for this.
If it were a police officer that signed it, no witness is necessary
