Claiming a 4 year old debt

If a company had stopped taking payments.
Even though money was still owed to them.
Then 4 years later, without any contact with debtor in that time, can they come back to claim the rest.
Can they do so?

I'm not sure they can just start taking the payment again without your consent, but they're entitled to chase you up for the payment after 4 years.
Yes - they can take you to court within 6 years of the last contact from you.
