What is the law on harassment by individuals of a sect that for 5 years have put me under stress. Because they are nameless and act very furtively it is impossible to confront them.

They perceive that I may have done harm in the past but the truth is I have only hurt myself. Because of their actions it is not difficult to grasp what they are getting at as they are trying to protect some other person at my expense. But I am unwilling to admit to something I did not do.

Although you sound implausible I can vouch that what you say has some credability. Because this type of occurrence is very rare the general public tend to dismiss it. Didn't the Queen mention to Diana's butler about dark forces. Remember Harrowdown hill where David Kelly, the arms inspector was murdered. Ask any union official or left wing activist about the treatment they were subjected to.
My research tells me that there are rogue elements in various positions who are under instruction from a senior and respectable position in either the police or security services. They have the means to tap your phone, read your e-mails do surveilance and generally make your life miserable. OK maybe this is needed today to tackle Islamic fundamentalism.
But if for some reason joe public is involved be very afraid. These rogue elements stick strictly to the masonic code and secrecy is their byword. Good Luck.

A case study I was looking at recently involved a strong headed individual who was sacked from his job because they mistakingly thought he was a union troublemaker. Because he was under so much pressure he vented his anger towards senior members of staff whom he felt held positions way above their station but had the power to sit in judgement on others. The insecurity spread to others each fearing for their jobs. He said to me," I could have killed the lot of them"
This statement was reported to the security services and the poor chap not only lost his job but was subjected to the type of treatment you had. So now trying to get on with his life is branded a potential murderer.
If we had to suffer the same pain would we have acted any differently?
