My nuisance neighbour is planning a BBQ in her garden this evening. Theyve been getting it ready since 10 this morning. Its usually a crowd of noisy friends till well into the early hours and she knows I have to be at 5.30 in the morning for work as Ive spoken to her about it before, but she doesnt care. Is there a certain time in the evening when noise in open spaces has to cease. If this was just a one off party I wouldnt mind, but it isnt. They are always making a din in the early hours of the morning outside in the garden.

Contact your environmental health officer for advice. These aren't really police matters any more but there are laws they may be breaking.
pray for rain
11pm is usually the time. If it gets bad tonight call the police who will break it up.
dr filth had a good reply , but - the neighbour will only , re arrange the bbq
Have a large smokey bonfire and throw plenty of green leaves and grass on it ....make the whole place stink of smoke.
Maybe consider ordering some very smelly manure and store it next to the dividing fence.
When you leave for work at 5.30A.M. ...ensure you don't wake the up ...wink wink ...car alarm ...close your internal doors firmly ...forget to turn your alarm clock off maybe.
Loud hi-fi are cheap these days also.
Home cinema systems are very loud. I have a 650W Sony system. The base speaker shakes the house.

I dont have neighbours within a few hundred meters.
So I never get complaints...would you want to live next door to me :-)
