my dad left his share of the house to me in his will when he died- so my mother and him were tenants in common. I've got probate so what do I do now? Do I just send copy of will and probate certificates to Land registry?

Yes, an Official Copy of Probate (which can be obtained from the Probate Office) and a certified copy of the will must be sent to the Land Registy as they will not transfer your share in the property until they have received this.
