wife ex wife nearly has registered a restriction against a house that is soley in my name it was brought with joint monies, we have agreed to sell our london house, but she will not let me sell the hastings house, she does not want to live in it, the total monies from both sales is to be split 50 50 can she stop me from selling the house or is there a form i can over ride the restriction so we can just split everything instead of going to court

She would need to prove a claim over this property, upon demand from a conveyancer handling a sale for you.

Beyond that point, its down to lawyer wrangling and all the relevant circumstances of your relationship.
