My friend works in a College where the Senior Management arranged for all students to be surveyed about their experiences at the College. Amongst the survey questions, students were asked if they would change anything. One reply named a teaching member of staff and stated that she should be sacked. The results of the survey, including the comment and the name of the teacher concerned, were published on the College Intranet.
Is this an acceptable practice?

No. There is a place and time for personal disputes and broadcasting them is not one of them.

At the very least the teacher should not be named. How can they defend themselves when it's in the public domain?
