if as in council tax the person is living with you then they can only touch or reccuperate items that belong to the person who they are dealing with they are not allowed to touch any or all of your chattels these belong to you and not the client they are dealing with so if your daughter has a television in her room that will be deemed hers unless proven by you otherwise also it would be a good option for your daughter to get in touch with the bank and come to some agreement that she can both afford and stick to the bank will do everything it can to get the money back and your daughter should make available any agreement that is both reasonable to her in her situation and the bank as in acceptance this seems to be a reluctance on your daughters behalf to reply at any stage to the banks requirements as it is rare and takes a very long time for banks to take this action in my own personal experience i hope this helps

had i not answered your comment about the bailiffs then i will now you are not unless you have signed a said agreement with the bank (most unusual) liable for any or all of your daughters finances thereby the bailiffs can only enter and take said items to the amount outstanding of the debt outstanding when taken to auction basically that means if a telly is worth 200 new they may think it will only get 50 pounds at auction so more items will be taken than you expect
