verbal abuse
I was verbally abused by the husband of my boss in the gents toilet at a party out of work. He abused me for all the hassall my boss gets at work but off other people not me. He used bad langusge and twice threatened to kill me if she came home from work distressed in the future. I did not know this man and I had never met him before. He at no point touched me. There was no one else in the gents at the time and he had had alot of alcohol.
It has left me very distressed and I am now off sick and refuse to go back to work and have demanded to be redeployed to another department. My boss is sorry for what happened and her husband wants to aplogise. I have said I want no contack with my boss and do not want his apology.
Do you think i should report this. I am not concerened that he will cary out his threats, he was just drunk and mouthing off

People say the worst things when they have had a few.
To be honest I don't think he meant any of it. He might have had a set to with her previously that night and wanted some one to take it out on.
It might be wise to except the apology this time but have it in writiing and tell her if he does it again your going to not only make a formal complaint to the firm but involve the police.

you must have upset your boss at some time, and she has gone home and complained to her hubby, and he, not liking his wife upset has decided to 'have it out with you'
I think it might be you who should be apologising, for upsetting them both in the first place,
sorry folks, but that's how I see it. He wouldn't have done it otherwise??
