Medical Law Dissertation Organ Donation. Help pls!!
6 Answers
My sister is doing her dissertation on Medical law covering issues surrounding organ donations. She is a mature student and still struggling with the dissertation. I have done IT so law is not my field at all. I am helping her with ideas on what to cover. So far her preliminary report is covering human tissue act, consent issues, ethical acceptability, current law on organ donations. Any tips, direction, or links you can provide will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Another idea would be for her to go and have a chat to one of the medical law lecturers or tutors, or find a PhD student who is covering a medical law subject.
It should neither be too wide or too narrow and covering all issues to do with a certain topic may be seen as too qide ranging and not enough information/reasearch or depth given into one particular issue.
Mine was partly medical law related. I did the impact of the Gillick case (innocent autonomy in minors) though more specifically tailored to the sexual side of things (sexual health, the pill, abortion etc...).
