driving with no license, and ran a red

I was just driving and ran a red light by accident. Problem is, I dont have a license. But I am 24 yrs old and learnt to drive when I was young, I dont drive as a normal occurance, but it was a bit of an emergency. What is likely to happen to me as its the first time anything like this has happened!!

who is the car registered to with the dvla - the letter will go to that person (if there is a letter - you may not even have been caught!)

The car is my bf's and he cant take the points because he already has too many and driving is part of his job. So it will still come back to me. What will happen to me, he said I'll probably get 6 points on my non existent license and a fine. Any one know the law?

And presumably no insurance either?

Probably a fine and ban from getting a licence for a period.

Not enough in my view, no offence, but there is a driving test and rules for a reason.

Yes..............until someone with NO licence drives it ! Then this voids the insurance. Please keep up !!

So what I haven't hit anybody!!!! I just run a redlight no harm done except to me!

Ask people for their advice then get annoyed when you dont like the comments.

And with that sort of attitude, I can only hope that you are hit with a hefty fine....................it's obvious that we can't appeal to your better nature and ask you not to do it again.............you don't seem to have one.

you don't have a licence so it's just chance that you didn't hit anyone.. don't make like you're an experienced, legal driver.

let me know when you're out next so I can keep my kids off the roads. and pavements. and where they thinks it's safe to cross the road, when the cars have a RED LIGHT.

dont mix me up with a chav, my daughter was the emergency thats all you need to know. As I said I dont normally illigally drive. But no one was around to help
