Power of Attorney

A relative went the other day to sign a Power of Attorney. The Solicitor asked her for a name of someone who might object to either the power of attorney or her will. She could not think of anyone and the Solicitor told her to just name anyone of the family. Is this right?

its not an objection as such. For safety, they ask for the name(s) of people to notify when the POA is actvATED Fr example, on my parents POA i am attourney, but when it gets registered at the court of protection, they will inform my sister (because she is named as someone who needs to be informed) This is so i cant just register it then sell their house for example - she would be alerted it was being registered
