If you receive tax credits are they at risk if a partner stays over and if so is there a maximum number of nights they can stay?
Many thanks

Why don't you call HMRC and ask them? They will give you a proper, real answer
Are you working and on TC? Do you get CTC? Or do you not work at all?
This is a complex issue. It is not just a matter of someone staying overnight. But you refer to a partner, which generally implies some sort of semi-permanent arrangement. If you are claiming as a single parent and have a partner then you must end the claim & make a new one as a couple.
