They are still working on the roof, they started last Friday.
Her roof is now lower than mine and my tiles are stuck up . Have they by law got to cement my edge of the tiles or do i have to employ a roofer to cement them in to stop the rain getting underneath.
Please Help

I do hope you are not the Cat on the Hot Tin Roof
Your tiles and property had a Right of Support and Protection from Weather etc
The removal of the supoort and protection is actionable
I would suggest you put your complaint to your neighbour requesting that the roof and any exposed wall be made good to your saisfaction or that of your duly appointed Surveyor such work to be done within seven days
You must give your neighbour time to do the work then if he defaults you can employ your own contractor
Please bear in mind that you do not have as of right a right of way to go onto your neighbours property to repair your roof
If you have problems in this regard see your local solicitor
Were you served with Notice under the Party Wall etc Act
before the work commenced
Send your letter posthaste and see if their is any reaction if not then you will be faced with proceedings
Please let me know how you get on

Thank you for your reply , when i posted this question i had not eaten for two days. I bumped into one of the men that is working on the roof yesterday when getting my wheelie bin in and i ask about my tiles that are now sticking up.
He has told me that he will seal them in before he has finished. i think they have cracked a few of my tiles , i should have taken a photograph before they started.
They started on next doors roof last friday and they are still working on it . They did not work on last weekend so i think it will be Monday before they come back .
Once again thank you for your reply.
