if you plead guilty at magestrates court what information does the judge get to see , does he get a copy of all the statements,the police version of events how is this made up,

all evidence has to be available, but usually the magistrates will hear the evidence from the prosecutor. they will hand up any evidence they feel is relevant but you should know in advance what that will be.

if the magistrates feel their sentencing powers aren't enough, you could still be sent to the Crown Court for sentencing.

Magistrates rarely, if ever, see any evidence in the event of a guilty plea. They are simply given the facts by the prosecutor.

If they are disputed and they would have an effect on the sentence a "Newton" hearing is held to establish the facts. In that case evidence would be produced.
