I've never heard of a law against it as long as the driver's not doing it.

that's what i've heard, but i was under the impression that it was illegal to have an open alcohol container in a vehicle... other than limo's who have licence for it..

or am i just making that up?
Not sure. I'd be interested to find out.

A limo might have a license to sell it as you can choose to hire it with or without champagne. So effectively they're selling alcohol.

i believe its the law in the states but not made it to the uk , yet !
It is also quite legal for even the driver to drink as long as he stays within the limit. Not advisable though!
And as long as the vehicle is not moving R1. People have been pulled over for eating while driving.

Get your meaning though.

danroll.....are you going to have to go back and say sorry now? Or are you going to pretend you didn't get the answer? :-)
