Legal Disabled parking markings?
1 Answers
Is there a varied way that councils can display that a parking space is disabled? Or is it just the picture of the wheelchair?
I didn't realise that I'd parked in a disabled spot, I was sitting opposite my car having a chat with my friend, and still didn't realise until I noticed the guy was writing me a ticket.
I was unsure if the disabled bay was legal, as it was unusual and not obvious at all. There were several other people not displaying badges in the same spots.
I know that ignorance is not an excuse, but you hear a lot about these kind of scams.
