what are the laws on refunds??

i recently purchase some dog boots on line for my dog as he had an injured paw...these boots state they are robust and very durable even for dogs with drag paw....i only needed to use one but after 5 days of use and only for short periods of time (half and hour) it wore out. i sent then back asking for a refund as i was not happy with their performance...however, they returned them saying they dont give refunds on wear and tear... again i wrote a letter saying that the boots did not live up to their expectations as advertised and the company is still refusing to give a refund. they cost £25 plus p&p so you can imagain my disappointent in them.

am i entitled to a refund and if so how do i go atbout getting my money back?

Have a read. Goods must be fit for purpose. It's true that reasonable wear and tear is allowed, but not so that the product becomes faulty.

Look here, just under the video there is link to a letter that you can download and send to the company, I have used this letter twice now and had full refund on both occasions, give it a try... Good Luck !!!
