Court banned the wrong person
Can a court make a very serious error of banning the wrong person . My son was banned from driving on the 11/11/09 . In court his name was wrongly read out and the court was told they had the wrong person. They then refered to the documents and noted Bobby was the defendant not Jason of the same surname. Bobby was banned for 14 months and fined, payment details given to him had his name and address and driving liceince details. On the 13th November Jason received from DVLA details of the conviction in his name despite going to the court and explaining the mistake to them the details still remain on the wrong liceince. I was understood legal matters had to be 100% correct can the whole case be challenged. The name of Jason ........... was also put in the newspaper people now think he has been in court, can the paper be made to print a retraction
