Boxing Day - Holiday Entitlement
My husband works at a place which is basically open all year round. A few of them have to work on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day for a few hours. As Boxing Day falls on a Saturday this year and the Monday is a "in lieu of " day for all us "normal" people who work Monday to Friday (!!), what would happen in my husband's place? Would the Saturday (Boxing Day) be classed as a normal Saturday and the Monday classed as the bank holiday? They're not even sure themselves at his work so any advice gratefully appreciated! Ta!

The monday was treated as a normal working day. Anyone not listed to work was given a day off in lieu. to be taken when they wished (obviousley with the agreement of the company)
