witnessing a contract...?

who can sign this? it is only a contract for an agency service, so could i have it signed by anyone - a plumber perhaps, or must it be a doctor or somehting?

If its just witnessing a civil contract, anyone can be the witness.
It normally needs to be an 'independent' person - ie not a family member or someone who has a connection to you - so a plumber would be fine.
edit - should add "Unless specified" to the above answer
Depends what the agency specify. If nothing then anyone will do.
Some people have specific requirements but usually an independant person over 18 and, obviously mentally capable etc...
