Police turnt up after the ex had gone away and asked me a few questions and then left. I then decided that I didnt want to stay there after what had just happened and left in a taxi. I stayed in a friends house that night.
After getting a phone call off my parents telling me police had been to her house looking for me I handed myself in.
I was originally getting charged with a section 18 which was later dropped to a section 20 at my plea hearing. I pleaded not guilty on the grounds of self defense. Can some one give me some likely outcomes on my case as I speak to my family regularly about it but thery're biased an give me which i think is un-necessary hope.
I am still on bail were I can't speak to my girlfriend or enter her area code but I found out not so long ago that her ex had been round a week after the fight and smashed one of their childrens phones up and their television.
I have been arrested before for drunk and disorderly and was given a fixed pentaly notice but apart from that I have no criminal record.
