In 1981 my parents and myself bought our council house, all our names were on the deeds. My parents have now removed their names from the deeds, and I am now the sole owner. They were because of age( 91 and 84 ) and disability and income entitled to a 50% reduction in council tax, this was when I was in full time employment. I am 62 and on state pension. Will we now not be entitled to the same reduction in our council tax, because they are in effect living with me and not home owners.

Contact your local council. As you are now the owner and they live with you, I would imagine that you are responsible for the Council Tax now.
If you go to the web site of your local Council it should tell you if you are eligible for any Council Tax Benefit. It all depends upon your income and amount of savings you have.
With the income for 3 persons whether on benefits or not will be added together for Council Tax payment.

A single person occupancy qualifies for a 25% reduction.

I am wondering should either or both of your parents ever need to go into full time care it may be seen as a way of avoiding care fee's

Should that be deemed the case you will be responsible for the fee's/

The Authorities are hot on this these days.
