Do i have a right to ask for a receipt.
I made part payment of loan 2 years ago, and forgot to ask for it.
i have wrote to this person recorded delivery, asking for receipt and how much left on balance, i need to pay
I do know how much i paid and how much is left, just want to know what fiq this person will say.
As i say i have wrote many times received 1 reply.
Hes now said hes taking me to court if i dont pay before end of month.
He never stated how much i need to pay or a receipt.
I have kept copies of letters i sent with recorded delivery receipts.
What are my rights.
Where do i stand if he takes me to court,

i paid cheque, and yes family and interest also.
If you paid by cheque then it will show up on one of your bank statements which will prove that it has been paid and cashed in. That is your receipt.
All you need now is to know how much you still owe and how that figure has been calculated.
