help required, scottish law, very few details
not sure what advice to offer here so though Id ask the clever people of AB.
An FB / forum friend has recieved some pretty devestating news and due to circumstances (as you'll see) is unable to get back to me at mo with more info.
the short story (all ive heard so far) is
friend inhertited mums house a few years back. Prior to her dealth the mum had been declared bankrupt.
Friend had been told to pay £78,000 to cover the debts (presumably to cover charge of house, but i dont know for sure)
Friend receives call yesterday at 17.10 (not sure from who) stating eviction is to take place at 14.00 on Monday
where can they go for advice over weekend? Can they refuse to move out? At the moment friend seems to think its a done deal and she is packing and arranging places for her family (4 kids and her and hubby) to stay with friends etc. This is why i am strugglin to get more details.
