Police Harassment
21 Answers
I was mistakenly placed on a murder suspect list by York police, when I complained my complaint was ignored. I rang solicitors who when I told them what had happened they decided they were going on holiday soon. So I am being harassed by police just because I complained about THEIR mistake. York police also convinced the IPCC that I was imagining seeing at least 5 policemen or police cars every day. How do I get justice?

Why did you rin a solicitor over such a serious matter, you should have one into a solicitors office and dragged one round to the police station to sort it out,. don't mess about on a web site get it sorted out. I see a dozen police cars every day but it could be the same one going round in circles. Don;'t diss the IPCC they are not 'convinced' by anythin except the facts.
seems odd that the police added him to their suspect list, it's a bit of random bad luck. Wonder how you know you are on a police list, who makes up the list and where do they keep it? Also, it sounds a bit sloppy for the cops to make a list and then tell suspects about it, kind of spoils the element of surprise really,

What sort of justice did you want? Are we talking about monetary "justice"? If that is the case, then what did you actually lose? If you are just seeing policemen every day (around the streets for example), how is that harrassment? are they coming to your work, your home?
If you have already been to the ipcc and they have dismissed it then i don't think you have many other options. Perhaps you should see a solicitor (one that isn't on holiday and one you can actually see)
