i have been charged with violent disorder and am at uni my plea case is coming up i am thinkng of going to court to fight it but am not to sure if i go guilty how much its worth

it can go either way if i go guilty i get a conviction of violent disorder and am not to sure what this will do to my uni life or life in general?

or i could go to trial and fight it and hope it get acquitted but stand more of a chance of spending some time inside. i am ready for this because it seems even if i go guilty i am gonna screw my life anyway.
i was started on, i was with a few friends and we retaliated and it went a bit to far i threw some glasses never hit anyone but i am on cctv doing this i was scared and am not sure how to go about this.

please if anyone has some tips or ideas or insights cos i am breaking down because of this got all sorts of thoughts going on.

yes i am at magistrates soon for the plea case i have a solicitor and a barrister,
i have to decide what action to take soon.

Well, what have your eminently more qualified legal representatives advised ?
What likely consequences have they told you ?

Your solicitor and barrister will review the evidence and advise you accordingly as to your best course of action.I am not sure if violent disorder is an offence triable either way, but if it is and you accept trial by the magistrates, then given that no-one was injured and assuming that this is your first offence, then I think a custodial sentence is very unlikely.

i can go guilty and get a suspended sentence and a conviction but i think even if i do that the conviction may get me kicked out of uni and damage my life as bad as going not guilty.

or i could go not guilty and go to trial and put my point across but will more than likely get a prison sentence unless i win.

this is my first offence there are 14 others involved and they play a worse part than me. most of them are going guilty.

the judge is accepting no lesser pleas.

my solicitor does think i have a chance but i am not clear on what lies ahead. if i go trial and lose then i am worse off than going guilty and getting it over and done with.
what exactly would a violent disorder do for my job prospects and future at uni?

i think if i go to prison then i would never come out

i doubt there will be many options for me after spending some time inside.

once i get tarred as a criminal then i will always be known like that.

Only *you* can decide which way to call it.

Perhaps the magistrate will be minded to accept that 14 guilty pleas is sufficient for this fight (were there injuries sustained by *anyone* ?) and your plea will be accepted and you'll be found Not Guilty. But it is a difficult call for anyone here to help you with.

bad situation i know, i hear people getting off for saying ridiculous things like they are attending a drink and drug rehabilitation thing or they have a low IQ, and i'm not the brightest person ever.

maybe i could plea insanity or depression is there such a thing.

it was in london during a football match a load of football hooligans started on us, i don't even like football but we retaliated they came all the way from somewhere up north just to cause trouble.

no injurys at all only caught a few of them because they were recognised on cctv for being football hooligans, most of them got away.
