this it to anyone that knows anything about the law!
last year i was wrongly disqualified from driving and i 'm looking to claim compensation, the reason for this is, that i had an operation on my leg (cruciate ligaments) and needed the car to get out of isolation so to speak since the disqualification i have had to walk distances, and with all the strain of walking hills my replacement ligament (hamstring) has torn, and now i need both my legs operated on,
so my life is fairly ruined
how much would i get, and the chance of winning
i did appeal last year, but the application was refused, i didnt get the chance to appeal within 14 days as the information was sent to an address i used to live
yes, it commences shortly after a court appearance, or court date,, i might not know the chances, but it would be better than no chance, the system in ireland is crap, over in the uk, they check if you are insured and leave it at that if you are, not make you hand in your insurance every week, and still get you disqualified
i only changed address a month after being stopped, and i did, i told them that i had moved, they through everything they could at me, my disqualification is up in 3 weeks
We may be on the mainland but even we're not so gullible to believe that the Court System in Ireland is as whimsical as you seem to be suggesting.
There certainly seems to be enough 'evidence' against you to have resulted in you having your licence removed.......the time to challenge that result has long since passed, I'm afraid.
You don't stand a chance of any sort of compensation....
i'm also from england, so i have both to compare, there is no evidence, i handed in my insurance, to the station, i di everything i could, i asked my solicitor about it, and he was happy to put a compensation claim in, see i used to get stopped 3 times a day, because of my car, and every day handing in my insurance documents i could not drive down the road without being stopped,
