I do not understand Russell's humour, but I know from the size and duration of his sold-out live shows that he must be very funny to a lot of people.

I think he is a Marmite - and deeply polarised opinions. I think his 'Byron-esque' image is really cool.

I think he is really talented, his total lack of PC is great in a kind of topical one man offensive Little Britain way. I am lucky enough to be going to one of his sold out dates in March.

Well I thought he was great until last year when the media made him too big. I didn't think much of his stand up show at all but I really wanted to because of all the hype. He was a so much funnier before this. Such a shame.

In my opinion, the best thing to happen to British television in at least the last 10 years. Leaves Jonathan Ross standing, and will hopefully knock the one-track idiot right off his perch. Russell is a true genius
