Kerry Katona's ex-husband Brian McFadden has claimed their marriage was a sham. He said he married her for the money and to appear celebrity-like. He said he knew on his stag night that it wasn't meant to be. He also said his marriage wouldn't have lasted as long as it did if the pair hadn't had children. What do you think? It is reported that he said he thought having a child was like having a dog - he was too young to understand. Is this man a low-life for having children with a woman he knew he wouldn't be with forever? What will his children think if they read his words when they are older?

Whatever he thinks, he shouldn't be saying it ~ publicly or privately.

His poor daughters will grow up knowing all this and it will only give Kerry Katona more ammo. I can understand what he is saying regarding the kids..not that I condone his behaviour as such, but many go through with having kids without thinking things through ~ although the majority tend to battle it out and end up regretting feeling what Brian has.

To think I was actually on Brian McFadden's 'side' during their break up...although it was pretty obvious it wasn't meant to be on his stag night as he allegedly enjoyed sexual relations with the stripper that night!

I dont know, they always seemed like they were very much in love, especially when she won "I'm a Celebrity" and he turned up, she was so pleased to see him.

I think he is saying this for publicity and to hurt Kerry, we all say hurtful things after a bad split.

Whatever the truth, he shouldn't be saying it when they have children together, it will be so hurtful for them when they are old enough to understand

i'm like pippa.........was on his side a while ago (before it got bloody boring) but if he has said this - he's a bigger kn*b than he looks, and what that Delta see's in him god alone knows!!!! Kerrys as common as they come, but at least she LOOKS like she's got a personality, not like that plankton!

You know what Brian, I had my daughter when i was young, but strangely, I didn't think it would be like having a dog! Maybe not being a spoilt and pamered, pretty boy heart throb allowed me to grow up in the real world! What a joke this man is.

Neither of them are particularly talented.

He can't sing that well, and his dancing leaves little to be desired. She was picked to join Atomic Kitten after being spotted pole dancing..and has since admitted she 'didn't sing a note' on any of AKs records, and made lots of money out of it.

In any case, I find them equally pathetic..both should just disappear!
