Ghost? That;s a great one. Have you seen Unconditional Love? I caught it late at night once and stayed up till 3 to see the end. Very enjoyable!

No hun not seen tht! Oh yeah ghost! Howd i forget tht one lol!! Thnks hunny x
How "old" do you want to go?
I loved it so much, I looked it up and bought the DVD very cheaply. I highly recommend it. It's a comedy with Kathy Bates, Jonathan Pryce in a very unusual role for him, Rupert Everett and a dwarf woman who I've seen in a few things, but can't remember her name. I'm allowed to say dwarf, by the way, as I'm only 4ft 11 myself and have often had the name shouted at me!
The English Patient, The Colour Purple. The Long Walk Home, Steel Magnolias, Ghost, The Josephine Baker Story (made for tv film but fabulous if you can get it)

Hahha im 5"1 on my tippy toes alec!!

237sj im open to any suggestions please!! Im not great with films and id like to collect and watch more so anything ! X
I'm afraid I found The english Patient rather dreary. The Color Purple can be harrowing in places, but is excellent.
What about Lady sings the Blues? It`s a film of Billie Holiday. Played by Diana Ross.

Whilst im here....there was a film i watched in high school....characters george & lenny, lenny was a huge tall coloured man, had learning difficulties...anyone remember the name? Was the same man possibly in the green mile x

Ive bookmarked colour purple on ebay, just googling the others thanks i really appreciate it!! I like films like that x
You`ll love The Colour Purple. A real epic. What about My Left Foot with Daniel Day Lewis?
I may well be wrong, but it sounds like Of Mice and Men. The book was by John Steinbeck. It was probably made into a film and often appears on school curriculae.

Have you looked at the websites for play.com and hmv. Their DVD's are often cheaper than ebay and there's no delivery charge.
In fact, play.com send me emails of their sales. They've always got a sale on and most of the DVD's start at £2.99.
